4 day Foil and Epee Camp: Tues 29 – Fri 1 Sep 2023
10am – 3pm each day
The aim of the 2 day and 4 day camps is to offer fencers the opportunity to receive additional training during the summer holidays to keep their fencing skills in practice and prepare for the new season. We will cover technical, tactical and conditioning requirements relative to age and experience. Also to practice competitive sparring on the electric box. We will also do a short section on armoury and how to look after your weapons, and a session on refereeing.
Venue: 2 day 25/25 July Foil Camp: Epsom and Ewell High School, Sports centre, KT19 9JW (venue TBC depending on numbers)
Venue: 4 day 29Aug-1Sep Foil and Epee Camp: Epsom College, Sports Hall 1, KT17 4JQ.
Cost of training day is £70/day for EFC or ECFC members (£135 for both days).
Cost £80/day for non-members (£150 for 2 days = £75/day)
For 4 day camp: £260 for all 4 days £65/day for EFC/ECFC/KFC/KSFC/WFC members
Non members: £300 for 4 days = £75/day.
Places are limited – min 3 months fencing experience required. Age 10 plus, but please contact Nick if you have a younger child that would like to attend. Possible Taster session for siblings or friends who have never tried fencing. Please reply if interested.
Please bring all your own fencing equipment, including electric kit plus a water bottle, additional drinks & packed lunch. Please let me know in advance if you need to borrow/hire any kit.
